In choosing your Electrologist keep these general rules in mind:

 

1.  Take as much care as you would in selecting a Doctor, Dentist or any personal service.

 

2.  A certificate of an accredited school should be visible, however, current membership in a

    Provincial/National/International Association both on display and dated, is essential.

 

3.  The office and treatment area should be private.

 

4.  Cleanliness is the obvious; however, you must inquire about how they comply with

    INFECTION CONTROL STANDARDS.

 

5.  A consultation (by appointment) is important.  Take advantage of this service to ask

    questions and observe.
